An EBSU final year student by the name "Reubenson" was scammed by an unsuspected gift data scammer by the name "Paul Olije" on 26th of April 2018. According to Reubenson, he met this scammer on a whatsapp group chat named "Laugh Pattern" and with a little mutual conversation, Reubenson trusted him with a transfer of 1000naira in other to receive a data of 4.5GB from Glo network. But the story got a twist when Paul received the payment and refused to share the data as agreed between both of them. Reubenson claimed that Paul the scammer stopped receiving calls from him and didn't reply his whatsapp messages anymore. And after waiting for 24hours, Reubenson got pissed off by the annoying act of Paul the scammer. This made Reubenson start searching for Paul Olije on Facebook, which led him to the scammer real profile which he uses for scamming people of fairly used cars on jiji.ng. Paul Olije other number was gotten on Facebook and was confirmed to be a scammer by another student of EBSU by the name Emmyz Boy. So, this brought out the truth about Paul Olije's dirty scheme of fraudulent act through "Gift Data and Car sales" scam.
To everyone out there, becareful of whom you trust and always meet your seller before any transaction. And this is going out to stop Paul Olije from scamming other people.
And by the information Reubenson gave, Paul Olije reside at Benue state of Nigeria according to his Facebook profile details. It will be good if legal authority takes this up not minding the little amount of the money that was scammed of Reubenson, but the potential risk of Paul Olije scamming other people of bigger money. This is not a lawless society, Paul should be traced and brought to justice!!!
