The SUG Week We Never Had (EBSU Student Week Kicks Off Tomorrow)

THEY SAID IT'S EBSU STUDENTS' WEEK (Doorh!)

I feel so sorry for the students of EBSU each time I see years past without them getting to know, interact, suggest to, rub minds, or merry with their so-called SUG Presidents. It makes me think that maybe we have only chosen the wrong people, or they might have been imposed on us. The latter being a fact to go by, candidly.

The SUG has slated a students week (for themselves) kicking off tomorrow. And I'm asking:
1. How many students are aware of this supposed programme?
2. Why were the four faculties not represented in the stated activities?
3. Where there no prior information about this programme to students in all faculties?
4. Why was this not included in the school's calendar?
5. Why this late? Why didn't this take place in the middle of the semester?
6. Why now students are taking exams? And done have exams the same week the students' week is going on, whereas the money for this programme has long been signed.
I smell foul! Big foul! Scam! Scam of the highest order.

A programme starting tomorrow and the flyer surfaced online today, and the banner have not been printed yet, as gathered from a reliable source.

It is true that students' week suppose to be a programme that'd unite the students from all faculties to come together to exercise, play, and know themselves. It is a time set aside for students to award exceptional students (not politicians, mostly) who have performed very well in different levels. It is students' week they said, not politicians' week. You hear me?
Students should be awarded based on:
1. Best class reps
2. Students with the highest CGP for the semester
3. The bravest student of the year
4. The best lecturer of the year in each faculties
5. best faculty presidents, among others to encourage them.

And the pre-selection of this eligible awardees should be conducted prior to the programme so that the persons chosen for each post would stand the thirst of the students. But No, our SUG president(s) would rather prefer to romance politicians and dash these awards for their own selfish interest.
Now students would be vacating soon and they're planning a programme. O di mma. We are watching. Somebody's tenure is already expiring shaa. Beside, someone has ruined his political career for mere greediness and want. This is the worst tenor ever.

Let's see what this OGBU EMMANUEL guy holds in stock for us. We are tired of being snubbed by an imposed president.
Students' week my ass! Abuja here I come.
