News reaching us now is that the Governor of Ebonyi state has ordered the demolition of a hotel that belongs to an Anambrarian in reprisal attack to what the governor of Anambra state did.
Nwoba Chika Nwoba made this known to us by writing it on has Face book page to alert the public on what is going on in the state...
Ebonyi state governor, Mr David Umahi
was reported to have ordered the demolition of a hotel reportedly owned
by an Anambra man and located at the Onwe road, Abakaliki with the
excuse that it was illegally constructed.
The name of the hotel is Hotel 043.
Inasmuch as I am not happy with Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra state for renaming a street named after Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital in Awka, few days ago, I wouldn't in any form support the instant clampdown on establishments owned by Anambrarians or anybody whomsoever in the state so long such establishments have not been confirmed to be in contravention of the laws of the land or the wellbeing of Ebonyi and its people.
Since the government constituted a committee to be chaired by the SSG, Dr. Hyginus Nweze Nwokwu to meet with the Anambra state governor over the street renaming saga, Gov Umahi should not have gone ahead to do the unneeded thing in reference to the case on ground.
What I had expected the governor to have done was to wait on the Anambra state governor's reactions after the committee must have met with him.
The reactions of the governor would suggest what reprisal measures Gov Umahi should adopt.
This preempted action will now go a long way in satirizing or causing frictions in the nerves of the coexistence of the people of the two states.
Gov Umahi should learn to always observe restraints in actions having to do or affecting people of diverse orientations.
May the world know now that I am not in support of this malignant action of the Ebonyi state governor.

Meanwhile tensions have been risen concerning the renaming of the Abakaliki street in Anambra to club street and the governor of Ebonyi state has assured its people that the actions will be reversed,
