Commercial Sales Executive

Description:

The task involves carrying out routine chartering operations by engaging in negotiations and assessments and producing documentation for the transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with ship owners to gather information regarding ship availability.

• Verifies the availability of vessels for rental purposes.

• Receives and evaluates customers' requests for vessel rental, taking into consideration the required service, vessel capacity, date of hire, and duration of the lease.

• Submits vessel rental requests to the Commercial Manager for approval.

• Negotiates cost-effective rates with ship owners, as delegated by the Head of the Department.

• Ensures timely payment to vessel owners and facilitates payment disbursal.

• Monitors the progress and advancement of vessel movement from product source to ship berth and reports such.

• Maintains adherence to the company's health and safety policy in all operations.

• Creates the vessel charter party agreement.

• Prepares invoices and confirms payments.

• Communicates with ship owners to gather information about ship availability.

• Drafts charter party and contract agreements with vessel owners, letter of indemnity (LOI), and other pertinent shipping contract documents to assist with vessel chartering.

• Maintains service level agreements (SLA) between Rainoil, technical service providers, and other relevant third parties.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper in Social Science, Accounting, Finance, or Management is mandatory. A degree in Engineering or a related field would be preferable.

• A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in the Oil and Gas industry's Trading and Marine sector is required.
